This is the bright, spacious very well resourced P1/2 room.  It is in this room that our children start their life at school under the care of teacher Mrs Walker and classroom assistant Mrs Whiteside who have worked together for many years. 

 

The P2/3 room is identical in size and layout to P1/2 and is under the care of Mrs Trew, Principal Release teacher and classroom assistant Mrs Ritchie.  Like the classroom next door it has direct access to outdoor grassy areas and playground making it really easy to take learning outside. 

 

Both classrooms open onto a shared play and library area allowing for extended role play opportunities.

 

The hall is always busy, and is used for assembly, PE, canteen at lunchtime, and regularly for large scale art and creative activities.  Recently purchased multi-purpose seating has enhanced its  flexibility.

 

 

 

 

 

We have a small tarmac area and a larger playground.  Here children can enjoy playing with a wide range of fixed and portable resources, all under the care of Mrs Whiteside and Mrs Ritchie

 

Our entrance hall contains the original foundation stone from the old school and also displays school photos from many years ago until the present.  It is always a favourite spot for visitors and former pupils.
