We participated in UK Parliament Week by voting for the film we wanted to watch in Film Club. We had voting papers and ballot boxes and we had to show our membership cards to prove who we were. Our names had to be recorded on the register of voters and then the votes were tallied and counted. What a great cross-curricular activity to teach us that everyone has a voice and every voice counts! Citizens of the present and the future.
